DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) system provides users the ability to coordinate the placement of clients into services based on priority population status, to directly benefit clients and to improve the efficiency of the overall service system. Placement coordination may be accomplished within a single service provider organization, but CMBHS also facilitates coordination and optimization of resources within a Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) region and across Regions as needed.
The aim of the CMBHS Occupancy Management functions are to ensure user access to information needed to place clients in services in a timely and efficient manner, and to reduce delays in admission to programs. CMBHS provides the tools to manage wait lists, to support the goal of reduced wait for admission to services and to provide as much data to DSHS through automated processes as possible.
The following is a list of the Occupancy Management functions in CMBHS.
