Recovery Support Services    (RSS) Reports

Two new reports have been added to CMBHS for Recovery Support Services providers; the RSS Intensity of Needs Report Summary and the RSS Upcoming and Overdue Recovery Checkups Report Summary.

 

To access RSS reports:

·         your organization’s CMBHS Security Administrator must give you the RSS Report Role at an RSS location;

·         you must be logged into an RSS location;

·         use the Administrative toolbar at the top of every CMBHS page by selecting Data and then the Reports menu item.

·         Select the Date range and then Run.

 

Report Descriptions:

1.   RSS Intensity of Needs Report Summary: This report provides a summary for all active clients enrolled in an RSS program location on the latest intensity of need for all active clients enrolled within the user selected Enrollment Date range.

Substance Use Disorder Recovery Support Service Providers

MH Outpatient Commitments

A new function has been added to CMBHS for use by Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) and Local Behavioral Health Authorities (LBHA) to fulfill the requirement for reporting Outpatient Mental Health Court Commitments to HHSC. The new page called Commitment is available for online data entry and data exchange (batch). A CMBHS report in the Business Objects format is also available.

User Instructions for Documenting on the Commitment page: To enter an outpatient MH commitment into CMBHS, you must first locate the client’s record in CMBHS. Double check to make sure you are entering information into the correct record.

·         Login to CMBHS and go to the location where the client is or will be receiving services.

·         Begin with the Find/Add Client function from the menu on the left to locate your client’s record.

·         After you have located your client, go to the Client’s Workspace. From there you can access the menu on the left and create documents.

·         Select Intake from the menu on the left and then from the drop-down list, Commitment.

·         Complete all the required fields and then select Save.

·         The document has successfully been placed into the client’s record and will display in the Client Workspace Document List.

 

User Instructions for Outpatient MH Commitment Report

A new Business Objects report “MH Outpatient Commitment Report” has been added to the Mental Health reports in CMBHS. LMHAs and LBHAs can use this report to track the Outpatient MH Commitments they have entered into CMBHS.

The data can be downloaded to excel if needed.

 

The MH Report role is needed to access this report.

Retraction

During the January 8, 2019 HHSC CMBHS User Conference call, Ms. Webster indicated that a Broadcast Message to Substance Use Treatment Service Providers had been released by the agency on the topic of improving the timeliness of completion of SUD Assessments and Treatment Plans. This was an error and no such Broadcast Message has been released.
