Consent for Release of Information for Tobacco Cessation Referrals

An improvement has been made to the CMBHS Consent for Release of Information page when a client chooses to be referred to Alere Wellbeing for tobacco cessation services.

In the past, the Records to Be Released section of the Consent displayed all substance use services as possibly being released when Alere was chosen as the Disclosee even though no records other than the Tobacco Cessation Referral are part of the data exchange process with Alere.

With this change, when Alere is selected as the Disclosee for a Consent, only the Tobacco Cessation Referral displays with the checkbox already selected.

Any consents that were created in the past for Tobacco Cessation Referrals will remain unchanged, as this change only impacts TCR created on and after 10/01/2016.

End Service

At the request of our users, the End Service document now displays the funding source for the service being ended.  The information is View-Only and does not impact the functionality of the page.

Statewide Inpatient Care Waitlist

An important improvement has been made to the Statewide Inpatient Care Waitlist.  A new column has been added to the waitlist to indicate if the person’s most recent diagnosis in CMBHS includes an Intellectual or Developmental Disorder (IDD) diagnosis.

If yes, the person’s most recent diagnosis includes an IDD diagnosis, then Yes displays on the list.  If no, the most recent diagnosis does not include an IDD diagnosis, then No displays on the list.  In the person on the waiting list does not have a diagnosis in CMBHS, None will display.

NOTE: When a client’s diagnosis is changed in CMBHS to add or remove an IDD diagnosis, the CMBHS Statewide Inpatient Care Waitlist is updated to display only the new status.  HHSC will have access to all the data, including  that a person may have had an IDD diagnosis, but that it was added or removed

YES Waiver Clinical Eligibility Determination

An improvement has been made to the YES Waiver Clinical Eligibility page.  For Criteria D, a checkbox has been added to allow the user to select “None” when none of the criteria listed are met.

When “None” is selected, the YES Waiver eligibility determination will calculate that Criteria D is ‘Not Met” and the client is not eligible for YES Waiver Services.
