Pending Claims Page |
Improvements have
been made to the CMBHS Pending Claims page to correct a frequent user error
for Day Rate Attendance claims. CMBHS has always
prohibited changes to submitted claims source documents until the claims have
finished processing and are in a final status. Unfortunately, users have
continued to make changes to Day Rate Attendance documents, causing the
claims process to stall. When this happens, a call to the CMBHS Help Line and
a data fix by DSHS IT are required to restart the process so the claim can
reach its final status. The improvements
prevent a user from submitting claims while there are claims that are not in
a final status displaying in a group of search results. So, when you conduct
a Pending Claim search and the results include claims that are not in final
status, you will receive the following message: The search criteria you entered includes
client(s) who have submitted claims that are still being processed by DSHS.
Day Rate Attendance claims can be submitted for these clients only when those
claims are in a final status. --------------------------------------------------------------------- CMBHS Client #: 1111111 Claim #: 2222222 Begin Date - End Date: 00/00/0000 - 00/00/0000 --------------------------------------------------------------------- You cannot continue submitting claims from
this page for other clients until you do a new search that does not include
these clients for these days. This
means you must redefine your search parameters to exclude these unprocessed
claims from your search so they do not display on the page. Often just changing the date will exclude
these claims. |

Case Management Open Case Page |
Three
(3) new case management types have been added to the Case Management Open
Case page. 1. Recovery Support - For substance abuse recovery support services, 2 new types have been
added Recovery Support Adult and Recovery Support Youth. Select the Case Type
from the drop-down list that corresponds to the recovery support service type
provided, adult or youth. 2. Other
- Another case management type has also been added to the drop-down list, Other. Only use
Other if you have been instructed to do so by DSHS
for a specific Case Management type. When Other is
selected, a text box appears where you must enter text to identify the type.
This information will be provided by DSHS when it is applicable. The requirement that
identifying text be entered allows Other to be used for more than one case
management type and a 100 character drop down box appears. DSHS
will notify users when the CMBHS case management reports have been updated to
display these new types. |

client, HCC users now have a way to change the assigned case manager when
needed. The
Reassign Case Manager function is available from the Administrative toolbar
at the top of the page under Provider Tools. |

Automated Medicaid Eligibility Verification
(MEV) Process |
The
automated CMBHS Medicaid Eligibility Verification process has been improved
to submit a query to the TMHP Medicaid Eligibility Roster for mental health services
clients whenever a MH Uniform Assessment documented in CMBHS is placed in

CMBHS, this process update the information. NOTE:
