CMBHS Application The CMBHS application can now be accessed by computers using the Google Chrome browser Version 40. and 41. Please provide this information to your CMBHS Security Administration and your organization’s IT department.

MH Inpatient Care Waitlist (ICWL) and Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry (ICWE) A new function has been added to CMBHS, the Inpatient Care Waitlist. The waitlist provides Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) and ValueOptions, the NorthSTAR Behavioral Health Organization (BHO), a centralized list of persons waiting for inpatient hospital services and allows DSHS to monitor the list. The waitlist will be available for use beginning on Monday March 16, 2015.

INFORMATION FOR LOCAL CMBHS SECURITY ADMINISTRATORS

Local CMBHS Security Administrators are responsible for adding the new role to existing accounts and/or creating accounts for new users. Please ensure that this information is also shared with those at your organization who determine who gets access.

  • The Inpatient Care Waitlist role should be given to a limited number of persons to ensure that only persons who understand who should be added to the list, have access;
  • The Waitlist Entry page and the Waitlist are available only at your CMBHS MH and UM-MH locations. Users at each location can see the persons they added to the list and those added by your organization as a whole;
  • The CMBHS Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry is a CMBHS online function only. There is no batch.

Role Access Rights
The InpatientCare Waitlist Manager is the only CMBHS role with Read-Write access to the Inpatient Care Waitlist (SHW153). The following roles have Read-Only access: Security Administrator, BHO Administrator, MH Approver, MH Assessor, NorthSTAR Eligibility Specialist, NorthSTAR Enrollment Specialist, Oversight, YES Waiver LPHA.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

To Add a Person to the Inpatient Care Waitlist
Login to CMBHS and search for the person to be placed on the Inpatient Care Waitlist using Find/Add Client. Enter as many of the search criterion as possible.
If no results are found, create a Client Profile for the client, and Save.
From the Client Workspace, available from Home on the left Menu, select Intake and then Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry.
The Wait List Start Date cannot be changed and will always be set on the current date.
Enter the required information and select Save.
CMBHS validates your entry and displays the Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry.
Select Close and you will be returned to the Client Workspace.

To Remove a Person from the Waitlist
From the Client Workspace, go to the Client Document List at the bottom of the page.
Highlight the item labeled Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry and then select the View button.
Select the Edit and them Remove button.
Enter the required information in Removal Detail and select Save.
Select Close and you will be returned to the Client Workspace.

To View the Inpatient Care Waitlist
The Inpatient Care Waitlist is available from the Administrative toolbar at the top of every page of CMBHS.
Select Provider Tools, Occupancy Management and then Inpatient Care Waitlist.

Additional Information about the CMBHS Inpatient Care Waitlist will be added to the CMBHS Help soon.

INFORMATION FOR DSHS STATE HOSPITALS

Access to CMBHS
Staff at the DSHS State Hospitals that have been designated to need access to the CMBHS Inpatient Care Waitlist should have submitted the required forms to Tamra Boyd (contact information below) who has forwarded them to the CMBHS Business Team to set-up their CMBHS user accounts. Staff who are determined to need access in the future should use this same procedure.
New CMBHS users will receive an email with the login URL for CMBHS, their User ID and a temporary password. After you login for the first time, the temporary password will immediately expire and you will be directed to the CMBHS Change Password page. Check the CMBHS Help for password rules if you are having difficulty finding a password that CMBHS will accept.

  • NOTE: The CMBHS Business Team (contact information below) must be contacted promptly when staff are terminated or transferred and no longer need access to CMBHS.

Staff at the DSHS State Hospitals that have been designated to need access to the Inpatient Care Waitlist will be assigned the CMBHS SMHF Inpatient Care Waitlist role. This role has Read-Only access to the Inpatient Care Waitlist (SHW153) and the Inpatient Care Waitlist Entry (SHW152).
Only the LMHAs and the NorthSTAR BHO can add and remove persons from the Waitlist.

Batch Error Correction Screen A problem reported with the Local Case Number search function reported by several users has been corrected.

Additional changes have also been made to improve performance but they do not include changes to the page or its functions.
