Services Offered

DESCRIPTION

This function is an important part of the setup process for every business entity that provides Substance Abuse and/or Mental Health Services under contact with DSHS and uses CMBHS. This function allows the Local CMBHS Administrator to designate within CMBHS, the services they provide and designate the specific locations where each service is provided.

 

By successfully completing and/or ensuring the correctness of the information on the Services Offered page, the Local CMBHS Administrator ensures that the CMBHS users can correctly document and bill for the services provided. If the Services Offered page is not completed correctly, the Progress Note, Claims and other important functions throughout the program will not operate correctly. The Services Offered page is SOF066. 

 

Before You Start

• Your business entity and/or service location must have a contract with DSHS (or with a business entity that has a contract with DSHS) to deliver direct services to clients and be an authorized user of CMBHS.
• The user must be assigned a role that allows him/her to have read-write access to the Services Offered page.
• The following roles have read-write access to page SOF066.
  • Local CMBHS Security Administrator
  • Business Manager
  • Clinical Supervisor
• Under some circumstances DSHS will set up this page for the provider business entity. If DSHS Has set up this page for one or more of your service locations, it is the responsibility of the provider business entity to review the page and make any needed corrections and additions.

• Services offered are set up for each of the provider’s service location. You can not set up or view the services offered at the administrative or parents location.

How to Access and complete the Services Offered Page

1. Go to the Administrative Functions toolbar at the top of any page of CMBHS.
2. Hover Over Business Office and than CLICK ON Services Offered in the menu that drops down.
3. The Services Offered page # SOF066 will display.

Services Offered Data Fields

• The Services Offered page has the following data fields:

 

Service Type (Required)

• Select the Service Offered by your business entity.

 

Funding Sources (Required)

• Select the Funding Source for the program.

 

Offered (Required)

• Indicate if this service is offered (provided) at this location.
• If this service is offered at your location, CHECK inside the check box.
• If this service is not offered, leave the box blank.
• If the Services that display on the Services Offered page are not correct, contact your Local CMBHS Administrator. The Local CMBHS Administrator has the only business entity/provider level role that can change the list of services that is displayed on the page from which you select.
