Documents with Tabs
In CMBHS, many documents have multiple tabs at the top, each with a different label. As you move from tab to tab, the screens change but you are still in the same document, with the same page number.
- You can move from tab to tab (by CLICKING on the tab you want to go to) without saving (CLICKING ON the Save button) and the data you have already entered will not be lost.
- You must CLICK ON the Save button before leaving the document or your data will be lost.
- For an example,
EXAMPLE:
- The Assessment page is AST022.
- As you move from tab to tab of the Assessment, you will still be in the same document, and the page will remain the same, AST022.
Read-only and Read-Write Views in CMBHS
Depending on your role(s), you are granted either Read-only or Read-Write access to various pages and functions within CMBHS.
Read-only View
- In the Read-Only view, the user can look at documents but can not create a new document, add information to or change information that has been entered into that CMBHS document.
- In Read-Only view, the information that has been put into CMBHS can not be changed or new information added.
- To ensure this, if you have Read-Only access to a page, the Edit button will not show on the page for you.
Read-Write View
- Users with Read-Write access to a page can create new documents, add information to and change information that has been entered into a CMBHS document when the page is in a status that permits changes.
- Most new pages are created using the Toolbar on the left side of the page, the Client Services Toolbar.
- Since most pages open in the Read-Only view; the user must CLICK the Edit button to make changes to or add new information to the page.
- The Edit button is usually located in the upper right hand corner of the page.
Note:
- In CMBHS, a document may have multiple tabs with different headings.
- As you move from tab to tab, the screens change but you are still in the same document with the same number.
Example:
