Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services (CMBHS) is a web-based software program designed specifically for documentation of community substance abuse and mental health services in an electronic health record (EHR) format.
Clinicians that provide services to clients are the “primary users” of CMBHS.
Ease of use, ensuring the availability of important clinical information at the point of client service and facilitating accurate data entry are key objectives of CMBHS.
CMBHS also includes some health care management functions such as service authorization, and provider administrative functions such as waiting list management and billing.
CMBHS also helps DSHS fulfill its responsibilities such as state and federal data reporting, contract oversight, clinical quality improvement and compliance monitoring.
CMBHS includes a HELP file to aid users with easy step-by-step instructions on how to successfully use the CMBHS system.
